   Mass Production of Useful Plants

  Embryogenic cells of valuable medicinal plants
  are cultured in liquid medium and developed up
  to plantlets(or seedlings) via somatic embryo-
  genesis.

  → Enormous volume of plantlets can be pro-
      duced in a short period if cells are cultured
      in large-scale vessels.

 Unit 2.

 BIOCHEMICAL

 ANALYSIS

   Extract & Analysis of Useful Compounds

  Active substances are separated from cell cul-
  tured plantlets through solvent extract and the
  compounds are analyzed chemically through
  mechanical analysis.

  → Cell-cultured products are checked for toxicity,
      biological activity and clinical effect.

 UNIT 3.
 COMMER-
 CIALIZATION

  Commercial Application of Products

  Biochemical analysis data are applied to commer-
  cialization of cell-cultured plantlets in various fields.

   → Healthy foods, beverages, cosmetics and
      medicines can be made from(of) cell-cultured
      products
