                    senticosus

 

Description : A tall wild deciduous shrub with many stalks and
                    a woody root

 

Distribution : Russian Far East, Northeastern China, Northern
                    and central Korea, Japan (Hokkaido)

 

Active Properties : Invigoration, Enhancement of body resist-
                    ance, Adaptogenic effect, Antiaging effect

 



 
Cell-Cultured Siberian Ginseng

 


Production Method : Embryogenic cells of siberian ginseng are
           cultured in bioreactors and developed up to plantlets via
           somatic embryogenesis.

 

Production Environment : No growth regulator, no harmful
           ingredient added

 

Toxicity : Any abnormality was not observed on acute toxico-
           logical test in mice with fresh plantlets and their extracts.

 

Activity Analysis : Cell-cultured products were analyzed for
           various fields of biological activities. Analysis results were,

           in general, similar to those of natural products and showed,

           in particular, very high degree in antioxidant activity and
           inhibiting lipid peroxidation activity.
